We started our sustainability studies as of 2023. The development we have made in this direction; We aim to share it with our management, employees, guests, suppliers and all our other partners and thus increase the awareness we will create at this point and turn it into common goals and successes.

In order to ensure the effective use of natural resources with environmental responsibility awareness; minimizing all kinds of wastes arising from resource consumption, separating them at the source and eliminating hazardous substances without harming the environment, complying with the relevant laws and regulations and constantly improving them, our employees, our guests, tour operators, suppliers and Our goals are to contribute to instilling environmental awareness in society, to make our policy a lifestyle, to ensure the continuity of our practices so that they spread to all areas of our lives, and to keep them open to public scrutiny.

It aims to provide regular training to our employees, to constantly improve their conditions, to detect the dangers and risks they may be exposed to in advance, and to prevent possible work accidents and occupational diseases.

In order to protect human health and human rights in a team spirit, by complying with legal conditions and our own conditions, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment, to raise the awareness of all our employees with the help of trainings and to adopt it as a basic duty not to endanger the health and safety of themselves, other employees and our guests, and to carry out our risk analysis. It is our occupational health & safety policy to constantly improve the prevention culture by reviewing it.

It aims to work to prevent the exploitation of vulnerable groups, without allowing discrimination on issues such as race, gender, disability, and to increase the number and quality of local employment created by tourism, including increasing wages and service quality.

“Zero Waste” in our facility; A resource and waste management approach based on circularity is implemented. Within the scope of sustainable tourism, we encourage changes in consumption habits and support the efficient use of resources. With our zero waste system, we advocate avoiding waste and preventing, reducing, reusing and recycling waste. This way we can help achieve positive socio-economic outcomes, including improving social solidarity.

History

• The first settlement on the peninsula was established by the 'Dors', and then the Carians and Lelegs settled in the region.

• In 650 BC, the Megerans came and expanded the city and changed its name to Halicarnassus.

•  Bodrum B.C. It came under Persian rule in 386. Halicarnassus had its heyday in B.C. He lived in 353 when it became the capital of the Caria region. Mausoleum, one of the seven wonders of the world, was built in this period in memory of King Mausolos by his sister and wife, Artemisia.

•  Bodrum B.C. It was captured by the Romans in 192, but did not show any significant development during this period.

•  M.S. Byzantines in 395 A.D. XI. It was taken over by the Turks in the century. In the First Crusade wars, the Byzantines, XIV. It fell into the hands of the Turks again in the century. It was taken over by the Knights of Rhodes in 1415, and in 1522 (during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent) it joined the Ottoman Empire again.

•  After the proclamation of the Republic, its name was changed to Bodrum.

Bodrum castle

In 1402 St. The castle, built by the Knights of St. John under the name of St. Peter Castle, has also been used as the "Underwater Archeology Museum" since 1960. The distance from the hotel is 10 km.

 

Bodrum Underwater Archeology Museum

14 BC. century to 16th century AD. Due to its rich underwater collection dating back to the 11th century, the name of the Museum was renamed as Bodrum Underwater Archeology Museum in 1981. It is our country's only and the world's most important underwater archeology museum. Bodrum Underwater Archeology Museum has the 1995 European Special Commendation Award. Halicarnassus Mausoleum

It was a large tomb built in 350 BC for Mausolos, the ruler of Caria. Its marble structure is so magnificent

and its ornamental sculptures were so striking that they were included in the list of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The "mausoleum" in the name became the name given to any later large mausoleum. The distance from the hotel is 9 km.

Bodrum Ancient Theater

It is the only building from the classical age that has survived to the present day. This theater on the southern foothills of Göktepe Mountain in the middle of Bodrum is one of the oldest theaters in Anatolia. This theater, which was restored by a group of Turks in the 1960s (most recently restored in cooperation with Bodrum Municipality, Ericsson and Turkcell), is still the scene of many festivals in Bodrum.
